こんにちは、クリスです。
すっかりお正月気分も抜けていつもの日常に戻りましたが、皆さんはどんなお正月を過ごしましたか？
僕は、年末からスキーに行こうかなと思っていたら、いろいろと我が家の引っ越し準備をしてくれていたかみさんが腰痛になっちゃったので、奥さんに合わせてスキーは中止して、家で年越ししました。
というわけで、お正月は特に何もせず過ごしていたのですが…
お正月早々、家で珍しいものをいただきました！
これ、ちゃんと熟したイチゴなんです。
白いイチゴで種だけ赤い品種が、最近出回ってるらしく、切ると真っ白なのにちゃんと甘い！
年末年始にテレビで見た「紅白イチゴセット」、いいな〜って思ってたらちょうどギフトでいただいて、初めて食べました。
結構、有名で手に入りにくいそうですが、ほんと珍しいですよね！
お正月らしい食べ物もあれこれいただきましたが、ダイエットも念頭に置いていたので、お餅なしでお雑煮を戴きました。
ちょっと淋しい〜…
でも、2日には友人の葉山の別荘でゆっくり過ごしていましたよ。
葉山の空は気持ちいいぐらいの晴天で、太陽の光を真っ正面から浴びる富士山が見えたのが、迫力あって格好良かった！
2008年の年末は29日まで働いていたのですが、4日のTOKIOで仕事始めをするまではゆっくり休むことができました。
で、TOKIOオンエアで喋るじゃない。すると、スタッフに「クリスさん、声が全然違ねー！」と言われるんだよね。
曰く、ゆっくり休んだ後の喉はとても調子がいいんじゃないかとのこと。
う〜ん、やっぱり声って生き物なんだね。喉は使いすぎるとよくないんですね。
今年はペースを守りつつお仕事をしていきたいので、喉を休めることも頭の片隅で注意しておこうと思いました。

おはようございます。やっぱ正月はダラーっとボケ―っと過ごすのがいいですよね。that`s exactly how Ｉ was spending time during the period of new year`s holiday．So do you mind if I speak my mind about the show that was run three days ago？As usual，it was very educational in that Ｉ was able to learn about various linguistic aspect of those learning English as a second language．Three gentlemen who apeared on the show，the one from india，the other from newsey land and the last from Japan，were very insistent about the type of English spoken in their regions．Well，with all due respect to them，there`s absolutely nothing wrong with them speaking that English since they can get through to each other by using the local lingo they like to integrate into the type of English they speak but in terms of accuracy or clarity，it`s always best to speak American English，you know．Cause it`s most certainly the type of English that can be understood by the majority in the entire world and first and foremost it`s cool to speak like an American．By the way，Ｉ might have told you this before but something very intriguing about ダニエル カールさん who`s dyed-in-the-wool YAMAGATA dialect just popped in my head．Ｉ was at ikuta studio for the shooting of a ＴＶ show of which ダニエルさんalong with the other foreign talents，one of whom wasケント ギルバートさん、was in charge as a host．During the break，ダニエルさんwas chatting with ケンとさんand asking him in very good American English questions about a gaudy coat ケンとさんwas wearing．You know，American people tend to speak much faster，So rapidly in fact that for a guy like me who was a student back then，it made me feel like Ｉ was at a bar or something sitting on the stool and hearing a drunken man uttering cyptic opprobrious words of English but you know，it could be only that they both were the foreigners who`d been quite familiar with Japan，which might be the Reason why they were talking that way． とちっと不思議な体験でした。ペプラ―寿司また期待してます。関係ないですが、けんさんは、ガッツリ２週間バケイションに入るんだそうです。ええ、けんさんの自由ですが。そういえば、クリスマスシーズンに兄貴が「こんにちわ、クリスマスペプラ―です。」って言うことを、コテンパのケチョンパ非難してました。報告しといたほうがいいと思うので。あとのことはお任せします、ハイ。

これは食べてみたいですね。
初めて知りました。
少し調べてどうしたら手に入るのかを見てみることにします。
